Calvary Sports is an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for children that promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in every child.
- Provides an evaluation system that promotes equal teams and opportunities
- Establishes a one-hour practice and game each week
- Implements a substitution system for each team, allowing every child equal playing time
- Creates the opportunity for every child to learn the skills of the game
- Places emphasis on having fun and good sportsmanship, not on the scoreboard and team standings
Sports are a great way for children to learn about teamwork, respect for authority, and sportsmanship. The sad part is all those things are being lost in today's sporting society. Calvary Full Gospel Church offers a wide range of children's ministry opportunities. Children are the Lord's greatest gift. The Bible teaches that children are not only a blessing to families, but also nations. They are the future leaders of our churches, communities, and Country. Because of the Lord's faithfulness to us, we desire to give Him glory by helping parents raise their children in the ways of the Lord through balanced Bible Teaching, age directed, interactive Sunday School curricula, and special programs. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 says, "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." In keeping with this Scripture, spiritual counseling is available by appointment in order to guide people to the Lord and to the Word of God for answers to their problems.

We're committed to passionately share the message of salvation through Jesus Christ to our local community and beyond. We support various missionaries throughout the world as well as local outreaches to the homeless and needy through such venues as the Gideons International and Washington City Mission.

Calvary Full Gospel Church offers help to women and children suffering from domestic violence or experiencing some other crisis. Through our Hannah House Ministry, we work to reduce domestic violence by providing service and support to victims, including emergency safe housing, counseling and support groups, victims’ rights advocacy, and life skills education. Our goal is to provide short-term help and long-term hope for those suffering and in distress.

Prayer and praise fellowships are planned several times a year as an opportunity for men of the congregation to gather together for support and prayer, as well as events such as sporting activities, golf, and the annual Men's Retreat. Our weekly Men's Bible Study is powerful, thought provoking, and encouraging.

Calvary Full Gospel Church has a continuing and evolving vision to support missions and is proud to support those the Lord has laid on our hearts who are spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ in foreign lands. Currently, we provide financial and material assistance to several missionaries serving in Australia, India, Latvia, and Southeast Asia. Periodically, we offer short-term mission trips both nationally and abroad. We encourage prayer support for those overseas and provide updates of their work as we receive them. We are presently called to caring for orphans in El Salvador, Central America. We sponsor children in various orphanages and are looking into starting our own orphanage. We have already sent several teams of our people down to El Salvador to do some hands-on missions work.

Women's Bible Study
Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to Noon
On Wednesday evenings at 7 PM, the women meet in the Chapel for a teaching geared especially for them. There is child care provided and the men and youth meet in separate areas of the church.
