Next Steps For You:
- If you have not fully registered or your child has not attended a player skill evaluation session, it is important for you to please mark down the following dates on your calendar and attend one of these two dates. Our next registration and player skill evaluation sessions will be as follows:
Monday, September 13 and Tuesday, September 14 from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM on the lower level field (Hickman Field) at 538 Hickory Grade Road. Please see the attached brochure for details on location under the left panel section titled "Evaluations and Sign-Ups".

The player skill evaluations include 7 stations: Pass pattern, 30 yard dash, 25 yard cone weave, shuttle run (all timed events), then the kids move to the accuracy and distance throwing and finally the running-catch event. The entire evaluation and registration takes only 15-20 minutes with breaks.
2010 Team Divisions:
- Kindergarten: Coed (boys and girls)
- 1st/2nd grade: (boys only)
- 3rd/4th grade: (boys only)
- 5th/6th grade: (boys only)
- If you have registered and your child completed our player skill evaluation, you will be contacted by the team coach after our September 13-14 events. No teams will be assembled prior to September 14 player skill evaluations conclude.
- ALL ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND: I would like to conduct an orientation meeting/practice for first-time players of all ages and parents to our Upward flag football league on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 10:00 AM - 12:00 AM. Please respond if you are interested in attending. More information to follow on that topic. Attendance is important and helpful for you and your child but it is only voluntary. We will run through a practice session as well so all know what to expect. This orientation session is intended to help you learn more about what this program offers and what your child will learn and experience through the course of the entire season. New Dad's to the league interested in helping, this session will be great for you to get acclimated to practice.
- First Practice Week of September 18 for all divisions.
- First Game Saturday, October 2, 2010.
- Last Game Saturday, November 20, 2010.
- NOTE: All games and practices throughout the season will be held at "Hickman Field". This is true for the player skill evaluation and registrations location.
